I found this interesting, although I do not agree with all of it. Worth a watch, though.

I was raised to be a Christian, although I never truly believed. I attended church, religious school, etc. I still feel that there is no God. However, in recent years I have taken to being particularly interested in the teachings of Jesus, in a purely secular way.

Specifically - the teachings around radical love, empathy, care for others, etc.

I have continually been disappointed by so-called “Christians” in this country - who claim to live by His teachings but act in a different way.

I came across this post earlier and thought it was a sharp and insightful parody of modern Christian hypocrisy:

There’s no question - Jesus would not advocate for repealing health care for millions, for a mass deportation program, for demonizing and alienating those who are not like you, etc.

It is pretty easy to find verses to support these points. I will follow up with more pointed examples in the future, though.
