Endorsement: Brad Lander for Congress (NY‑10)
10 Dec 2025 Reading time: 1 minuteThis is Endorsement #10 — for Brad Lander, running for Congress in New York’s 10th Congressional District (NY‑10).
In the Democratic primary for mayor this year, I ranked him second on my ballot — and I’m still excited to see him in this race.
He’s a long‑time organizer, housing advocate, and NYC Comptroller with a real record on affordability, tenants’ rights, and good government.
Why this endorsement
- Serious about the work. Decades of organizing and governing, not just vibes.
- Affordability + democracy. A campaign that connects economic fairness in NYC to fighting an increasingly authoritarian right.
- Real contrast with Dan Goldman. I’ve been disappointed by Goldman’s record in this seat — too often on the establishment, status‑quo side when it comes to accountability and foreign policy. Lander would be a clearer, more pro‑worker, movement‑aligned voice here.
If that mix — experienced, pro‑worker, and willing to fight this moment — resonates with you, consider chipping in above.
